Garmin, the GPS equipment maker, has rolled out its Vivoactive 3 Music wearable device. The newly rolled out wearable is akin to the Vivoactive 3 that was tolled out last year in November. It provides all the functions of the earlier Vivoactive 3 with the included functioning of music. Before this, the firm had rolled out 3 wearable devices namely Vivomove HR, Vivoactive 3, and Vivosport.
The new Garmin device in the U.S. has a price tag of $299.99 which converts to Rs 20,502 in India. The Garmin Vivoactive 3 Music permits consumers to amass almost 500 songs that can be played through Bluetooth earphones. While there is no authorized news as to whether this device will be rolled out in India or not, the firm had rolled out the earlier Vivoactive 3 in 2017 with a price tag of Rs 24,990 in India.
The Garmin Vivoactive 3 Music device has Garmin Pay, which is well-matched with debit and credit cards from MasterCard. It is an innovative payment solution akin to Apple Pay or Samsung Pay. The smartwatch sports a 1.2-inch screen with pixel resolution of 240 x 240. The firm also states that the device is resistant to water with almost 5 ATM level. The device pledges to operate for almost 7 Days on the smartwatch mode and almost 13 Hours on GPS mode.
The device also has a “swipe control” function wherein consumers can swiftly scroll across applications just like we have witnessed in the Apple Watch. It is also able of 14 days of activity tracking and can record 7 timed activities. In addition to this, the device can also track the steps, sleep, and general health of the consumer.
On a similar note, earlier Garmin India rolled out a digital analog smartwatch dubbed as “Vivomove HR” with built-in wellness functions with a price tag of Rs 15,999.
